Aneeqa Abid

Aneeqa Abid joins CAIR-MA from Stanford University where she received her B.S. in Human Biology and M.S. in Epidemiology. Throughout her academic journey, she was a fervent advocate for Muslim community engagement, demonstrating her commitment through various roles including community organizer, researcher, and teaching assistant. Aneeqa co-founded the Stanford Muslim Mental Health Initiative, a research-based project aimed at addressing the mental health needs of Muslim students, which exemplified her unique blend of academic excellence and practical activism. Since October 2023, Aneeqa has been actively involved in Palestine advocacy on campus. Now, she amplifies her efforts as the Community Engagement and Advocacy Specialist with CAIR-Massachusetts. Aneeqa embraces the opportunity to immerse herself in and serve the vibrant Muslim community of Massachusetts.
